PRIMARY/INTERMEDIATE COURSE
ec com successfully supports Primary age school children in Christchurch and on the internet.

Primary 1 (based around NZ Curriculum level Years 1-3)
Introduces basic English reading comprehension; word recognition and spelling; and basic writing.

Primary 2 (based around NZ Curriculum level Years 4-6)
Offers support at mid-range level for NZ Primary School developing reading comprehension; writing skills and vocabulary building.

Primary 3 (based around NZ Curriculum level Years 6-8)
Offers support at upper level NZ Primary School with extended reading comprehension; writing structures; and vocabulary building.
Private one-to-one tutorial options are also available.

We assess learners’ English ability and needs, to recommend an appropriate text for study.

Learners are required to purchase their own copy for personal study and review; most common texts are able to be sourced by eccom on behalf of learners, if required.

We have developed a study method to create independent learners and provide one to two hours of self-study for every one hour of face to face class time.

Includes exam study and specialised English content such as writing, business, nursing/caregiver English, pronunciation or simply general/social English study courses.
