Our nursing English Studies focus on situations in and around the hospital including:

• Accident and Emergency (Emergency Department)

• Meeting the patient (including admissions)

• General care of the patient – pain; nutrition; blood; hygiene; medication; monitoring the patient; etc….

• Operation orientation (surgery)

• Post-operative care

• Outpatient care

• Mental health nursing

• Caring for the elderly

• Death and Dying

In addition to the above topics, which we regularly teach, we are seeking more texts and material to teach the basic English for obstetrics; pharmacy; dermatology; gastroenterology; neurology;
coronary; infectious diseases and more…

CAREGIVER ENGLISH COURSE

We have study material covering the following English for caregivers:

• Key areas of successful care giving – communication; observing and recording; client/patient privacy and dignity; hygiene

• Using mobility and lifting aids; helping people change position

• Helping people with meals

• Helping with; shower/bath, grooming and dressing and using the toilet

• Helping people with medication

• Helping with recreational activities

• Helping people communicate

• Helping people suffering from disease or illness

• Basic medical vocabulary

• And more…

We also teach caregivers general English skills for good everyday communication.
