ENGLISH COURSE

HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES COURSE

ec com provides additional support study options for High School and Primary age students during school holidays including but not limited to:

  • English Support Covering all aspects of creative and formal writing; reading skills and strategies; language skills (word classes, figurative and literal language, sentence and paragraph writing) and additional skills study for Year 9 – 13 High School students. Three levels – Beginner/Elementary; Pre-Intermediate +; Intermediate +. We also provide Primary School study at three basic levels, sourcing study material from a wide range of resources including NZ Curriculum based exercises.

  • IELTS support Study  at three levels: Entry Level (band 4-5); mid-level (approx.. band 6); and extension level (band 6.5+)

  • TOEIC Courses each complete units of 6 Lessons running over

       the two week period.​

  • Writing Support Lessons

  • Grammar Support

  • Vocabulary either specialised vocabulary targeting TOEIC/IELTS, or, general vocabulary

  • Pronunciation

  • English Language Tests Intro Course

  • Model Test (IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL and SAT)

  • Any other request for ESOL tuition usually offered by ec com

All courses will be available on a private one to one basis or as class lessons subject to student interest and enrolment. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact eccom.

  • We assess learners’ English ability and needs, to recommend an appropriate text for study.

  • Learners are required to purchase their own copy for personal study and review; most common texts are able to be sourced by eccom on behalf of learners, if required.

  • We have developed a study method to create independent learners and provide one to two hours of self-study for every one hour of face to face class time.

Includes exam study and specialised English content such as writing, business, nursing/caregiver English, pronunciation or simply general/social English study courses.

  •  All lesson fees are payable in advance.

  • 10% discount for 24 Private Lessons (within a 3 month period) booked and paid for in advance.
